The Story of Our Garage
After Opening our first business in 2021 during the height of the Pandemic, we managed to operate and find a niche within the market selling used vehicles. We set out like most good businesses to ensure the products we sold were prepared to the highest standards. All vehicles come with new MOT's and servicing to the sale requirements, with such standards come substantial costs and organisation. The idea paved it's way to invest in a prep Centre which would handle all servicing, MOT's and repairs. It also allowed for extended warranty options for our customers as we had confidence that the services offered would be attainable with our in house technicians to hand. The demand for quality within a suitable time scale at an effective price bracket was where we wished to place VRM. The hunt for the correct premises took some time, as any business understands "they don't come up often". We were fortunate to acquire a garage that had great links within the local community for over 30 years and the owner was looking to retire. Upon securing the site we invested heavily to bring the building up to scratch along with the new tooling required to ensure a safe working environment for our staff and a clean environment for our customers to visit.
From the premises, lead to the most important part of any business, the recruitment process. Finding good staff that shared our ethos for quality and customer care wasn't an easy task. However we were fortunate enough to meet some talented technicians and testers in the coming weeks to scope out who was the right fit for the garage.
From the staff come the services. What would help customers every year keep their vehicles to a standard and potentially help with their costs. Annual Service & MOT reminders, fixed price servicing, repairs and upfront quotations. along with Recovery to site should a customers vehicle be unable to drive were just some of the services available from the opening day.
